Further partners of direct ancestors and all other persons who are only connected through another marriage of a direct relative receive the suffix "selif".

Less frequently, the parents of the mitur selif are also referred to as miret selif and fusret selif. To distinguish them from other partners of the biological miret or fusret, the title of the person from whom the selif branch splits off can be given. Here, fusret selif miret for partner of the miret versus fusret selif fustra for parents of the mitur selif.
